Playstation proclaimed the Play At Home Initiative!
To encourage more people to stay at home, Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced its new Play At Home initiative. “We are thankful for everyone practicing physical distance and regarding our responsibility as a family entertainment platform. So, we encourage our community to go on this safe choice and the need to Play At Home”. said Jim Ryan – President & CEO, Sony Interactive Entertainment, said.
As far as what we know, Play At Home has two components. Firstly, the plan will be providing free games to help Playstation citizen played at home. Secondly, it will play a role in establishing the Foundation for smaller independent gaming studios. Notably, many gaming studios have faced financial difficulties during the pandemic. Now, PlayStation supports Play At Home becomes more exciting by offering two game titles: Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Journey available for free.
In details, this collection from the administrators at Naughty Dog consists of Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune; Uncharted 2: Among Thieves; and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception – all meticulously remastered for PS4. Then, the game Journey is a beautiful adventure, famous and its movement is mysterious. In line with the goal of SIE, in maintaining Internet access in the US and Europe, downloading games may take some time. But we appreciate understanding from our community as we take these measures in an effort to preserve access for everyone.

SIE has established a Foundation to support other independent gaming studios. Moreover, they have donated $10 million to aid the combat against the ongoing pandemic. To help ease the social distancing period, Sony fan has reportedly chosen to play a game for moments of release and enjoyment.
