Japan asks citizens to isolate as reports warn of 400,000 deaths!

Japan now urged its citizen to stay at home when the media now warned as many as 400.000 deaths could happen during the pandemic. Besides, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has been under pressure to bring in more fund. Up to now, this country recorded over 9.000 cases of infection, including the whole number of passengers on a cruise ship, with 200 deaths. Moreover, the mortality rate can reach 400.000 cases without having decrease measures.

It also estimates that nearly 850,000 people will be needing a ventilator. The government requires all people to isolate. Besides, all businesses are ordered to shut down, although there are no fines or penalties to enforce such rules. The government spokesman, Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshi DA Suga, called for the support to help the government achieve its goals. Furthermore, Tokyo declared on Wednesday they now record 127 new cases; and at least 327 nationwide.

Takashi Takai was forced to resign from the main opposition Constitutional Democratic Party this week. Previously, media reported he had visited a bar in Tokyo’s Kabukicho red-light district; violating the call to stay at home. On the other hand, Japan has announced a $1 trillion economic stimulus package; which includes a 300,000 yen payment to households whose income has fallen because of the pandemic. The prime minister is now pressured to pay a 100,000 yen ($935) payment to each citizen. “I have urged the prime minister to make a decision and send a strong message of solidarity to the public.”
