Nintendo donates 9500 N95 face masks to emergency services!
In case you didn’t know, Nintendo’s North American packaging and distribution centre is located in North Bend. This is where they box their products to deliver in areas such as the US, Canada and Latin American. Fortunately, the company announced that they happened to obtain 9500 N95 masks for donation. On the statement uploaded on North Bend’s local government website, they have given their insights on the news.
“Nintendo representative Jerry Danson contacted Eastside Fire & Rescue to generously donate over 9500 N95 Particulate Respirator masks “Danson stated the masks were originally purchased for emergency preparedness planning; however, amidst the COVID-19 crisis, knew there were needed elsewhere. Eastside Fire & Rescue staff will distribute the masks throughout the region to address immediate needs, including the City of North Bend.”
On another note, the N95 Respirator face masks are now one of the medical supplies that had the highest demand on the market; since emergency service is trying their best to cope with the coronavirus crisis. The respirator masks help the wearer to protect themselves when they work amid coronavirus patients. “[We] deeply appreciate the generous donation from Nintendo,” North Bend’s statement closes.
